Heroes: Rahel, Broil, Oculor, Aelarion, Sengar.

The Heroes now turn to the Labyrinth of Vecna, dark grey tunnels riddled with secret passages, from which murderous kenku spring their attacks.

After defeating a few bands of these enemies, they reach the hidden temple of Vecna, where they face several acolytes led by the Faceless One, the last of the leaders of the Ebon Tried below the Dourstone Mines.

In his rooms they find the code to decipher the scroll they found in Theldrick's rooms, giving them more insight about the Age of Worms.

But their troubles are not over: on their way to the elevator, they once again enter the Dark Cathedral, where the dark water in the pool bubble and froth. From the viscous liquid, the Ebon Aspect emerges, bent on revenge against the Heroes! After a dangerous battle the Heroes defeat the monstrosity, and make their way back to the light.

Session 7

Heroes: Aelarion, Broil, Oculor, Sengar.

Having cleared the Temple of Hextor, the Heroes proceed to the Caves of Erythnul, dark, filthy dungeons inhabited by savage grimlocks. They must face hordes of the creatures, and the natural dangers of the stoney complex.

Eventually, they meet the grimlock chieftain, a fearsome barbarian that puts them to the test with his bestial strength, but they emerge victorious.

Deep into the earth, they arrive at the temple-cave of Grallak Kur, the mad prophet of the Ebon Triad. He uses the dark powers of his evil god to confuse the minds of the Heroes, forcing them to fight each other. Until Sengar squashes his filthy head with his mace, completing the extermination of the whole grimlock tribe.

The Heroes retrieve the treasure of the tribe, and also find a few scrolls penned by Grallak Kur, with more dark prophesies about the advent of the Age of Worms and its harbinger, Kyuss.

Session 5

Heroes: Aelarion, Broil, Oculor, Sengar.

Following up on the letter they found in the Old Observatory, the Heroes visit the mine manager Balabar Smenk, who confesses he's been "bullied" into helping fellow mine-manager Ragnolin Dourstone and the Ebon Triad, a dreadful cult bound to create the Overgod, a merging of the three evil gods Hextor, Vecna, and Erythnul. Balabar now fears for his life, and suggest the Heroes take care of the cult and of Ragnolin.

The Heroes inflitrate the Dourstone mines, descending into the lower levels thanks to an elevator. They find themselves into a Dark Cathedral, guarded by Tiefling guards devoted to Hextor. The Heroes defeat the guards, and set forth to explore the compound.

The Dark Cathedral gives access to three different compounds, each of them dedicated to one of the dark gods (Hextor, Vecna, and Erythnul). The Heroes begin with the exploration of the Temple of Hextor, and must contend with skeleton guardians and crazed cultists.
